COVID has brought significant challenges to our world and our communities. In these uncertain times we continue to reach out and support those in need.
In lieu of our annual dinner and fund raiser, we are asking you to consider a tax-deductible cash donation to our Foundation a 501(c)3.
Where do our donations go?
When you give to The Lakewood Rocky River Rotary Foundation, you fuel our service projects:
- Appalachia Outreach - Dictionaries for third graders
- Backpacks – backpacks students in Lakewood and Rocky River Foster care
- Beck Center - Out-side clean up and sanitizer supplies
- Bread - Monthly Breadsmith bread pick-up for local community meals and 300 families at Thanksgiving and Christmas
- Cleveland Book Box placed in front of the Don Umerley Center to collect book donations
- Exchange students – Host and send local students to one-year international exchanges
- Face Shield - Funds for 3D printed face shield materials
- Firefighters Charities – Towards equipment
- Food Pantry - Funding and building of food pantry for Lakewood United Methodist Church
- Harrison School in Lakewood - for education enrichment (field trips) and Book Buddies
- Interact – Leadership support to Lakewood and Lutheran West high school students
- Karen King Catering - Provide funding for Karen’s efforts for feeding senior during COVID
- Nanze Children Services Project
- Rocky River Assistance Program - Holiday gift cards to families, family food distribution support and on-going help with sorting and packing food
- Shelter Box USA - Supporting emergency shelter needs around the world
- Shoebox / layettes – School and hygiene supplies for “Children of the Dump” in Nicaragua
- Trials of Hope - Walk-in Freezer (Cluster Project) and on-going help with sorting / packing food
