Good morning.
We have three great programs scheduled over the remainder of this month that provide a great opportunity to invite a friend, neighbor or an associate to one of our meetings. Starting this week with Dee Salukombo, a Congolese refugee and an Olympian. On October 19th, we will hear from Bryce Sylvester, Planning Director for the City of Lakewood and on October 26th, Dr. Judy Welsh from the Cleveland Clinic and Fire Chief Scott Gilman from the City of Lakewood, will describe the Emergency Services available in Lakewood.
Reminders:
On Monday, October 17, 2016 The Lakewood Board of Education will publicly recognize our club, along with the Noon club, for our ongoing contributions and programs that benefit students of the Lakewood City Schools. The meeting starts at 7:00 PM in the Horace Mann Elementary School Cafetorium. All Rotarians are invited to attend and should plan on arriving by 6:50 PM. This portion of the program should be over by within the first 30 to 45 minutes. Please let me know at this week’s meeting if you are planning to attend, so that I can provide them with how many of us will attend. Thanks.
