The Rotary Club of Lakewood/Rocky River Sunrise was chartered on May 12, 2007.  The club was sponsored by The Rotary Club of Lakewood/Rocky River and was formed because there was a need in the community for a morning group.  The club started with twenty charter members and has grown each year since its formation.  All the members are eager to emulate the goal of Rotary, Service Above Self, and participate in a lot of hands on activities in the Lakewood and Rocky River Communities.  In addition to community activities, the club founded an Interact Club at Lakewood High School.  Interact involves high school students in local and international projects and helps to teach them the values of Rotary.  To learn more about the various projects the club does, please come to one of our meetings.  The club meets every Wednesday at 7:15 a.m. at the Don Umerley Civic Center in Rocky River.
